The Enhanced Learning Environment program (ELE) focuses on creating positive educational opportunities for children – typically in rural and tribal schools or communities. It is designed to enhance learning spaces within the classroom that promote peer interaction, scientific enquiry and access to self-learning tools and resources.
To do this, volunteer subject matter experts mentor teachers to support their professional learning and development. They provide the teachers with individual and/or group training and offer practical resources such as audio visuals and interactive exercises to use in the classroom.
Earlier educational projects of Paadhai, with Volunteer visits and Content mapping efforts, evolved into current online model of ELE. Our objective is to offer right blend of mentorship, content and tools to improve education in remote settings.
